PlexiDor Sliding Glass Door Insert Cat & Dog Door

The one-piece design allows for ease of installation and simply replaces the current glass panel in your door frame. Your existing door hardware is retained – only the glass is replaced creating a sliding glass dog door. Insulated (IGU) tempered glass provides excellent energy efficiency. There are sizes available to fit most sliding glass door frames.

The Plexidor offers a unique and attractive pet door for your sliding glass door. The PlexiDor uses 2 dual pane hardened acrylic flaps which swing open from the center like a saloon door (extra large uses two single pane flaps, small uses a single dual-pane flap). Rigid flaps are easier to seal than flexible vinyl.  Pile weather-stripping around the flap is used to seal it to the frame. The doors are spring-loaded to return closed.

With the advantages of nearly unbreakable flaps (you'll never purchase replacement flaps again and good insulation), the Plexidor is a good choice for severe climates.  This unique door uses a keyed lock for day to day use and comes with a bolt-on steel cover in Medium and Larger sizes. The optional rail setup allows the steel cover to slide into place for day to day use.

TEN (10) YEAR WARRANTY

PlexiDor pet doors come with a 10-year manufacturer warranty (electronic pet doors feature a 5-year warranty). This warranty covers any defective part and will be repaired or replaced free-of-charge, including standard shipping service. (Labor is not covered.)
